Jewel, I was working late tonight, weary and longing for an escape when I re-discovered your blog. As the owner of the big feet you described in your post: "A yeti of my own", I was delighted to find in your writings a very pleasant reminder of our time together. It allowed me to briefly re-live those moments, both tender and awkward (I had forgotten about the broken glass!). Thanks for putting a big smile on my face...once again!

Dear Jewel,

I'm looking forward to my very own entry on your blog with eager anticipation! Oh, and trepidation, as well. Will I like what I see through your eyes? Will I escape publication of my full name and address? Or will it, as I hope and trust, be a trigger for many happy memories?

Go for it, angel!

Jewel,

Great little video and am so impressed you put a bit in about sex workers rights with the red umbrella. Because of that I showed it to a few friends.

Touring London on the 2nd.

If you only had a clue how well you could do in the U.S.... perhaps its time for a tour? With your lovely self and the accent to match... wow...

You're a wee star, the truth never hurt coming from you. Will never eat the same way again after your comment. How you manage to analyse me and my actions - it's your je ne sais quoi! GRAND MERCI

Very pleasant little film, J. Watching it makes us all feel like little lost atoms in a large world, just waiting to bounce off one another when the time is right. You look like a nice person to share a coffee with.

Well, you asked for it.

First of all, there was no crust. I wished there had been a crust, but there wasn't.

Secondly, YOU were the one who didn't want to go to the pancake shop because it was out of your way. YOU were the one who then refused to go to Hendersons' because it sounded too complicated. And YOU (yes, that's right!) were the one who brought me the half-cold potato without a crust - and this is considering that YOU, like few others, should know by now that I can't possibly manage on my own so early in the morning and will therefore need looking after. AND AFTER ALL THIS I still don't mind seeing you. Now feel free to question my commitment to good taste.

All that about loving food is very well, but the day I saw you eat a half-cold baked potato with a crust of re-congealed melted cheese on it, for once I seriously questioned your commitment to good taste! That will still take quite some explaining away.

And YES, here's a vote for the 'how I learned to cook' post!

Awww, were you actually reading and adding up the numbers? Most clients (those who bother to ask) know how old I am, and most regular clients know when my birthday is (because we all love presents, don't we?). The latest age figure is in the last Dec 2011 post.
